Oculus Rift, the Virtual Reality device by Oculus VR, society acquired by Facebook in 2014, is ready and it can be preordered on the official site at this link.
Oculus release the PC requirements needed for its device, if you don’t know how to check them you can download a tool that will do that for you, in any case don’t think they are low:
CPU: Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater
Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD R9 290 equivalent or greater
Memory: 8GB+ RAM Video Output Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output
USB Ports: 3x USB 3.0 ports plus 1x USB 2.0 port
OS: Windows 7 SP1 64 bit or newer
Due to those requirements, Oculus, thanks to a partnership with ASUS, DELL and Alienware, offers the possibility to buy one of the "VR Ready" PC proposed by those societies with preferential treatments if you preordered the device.
The bundle, which price is $599,00 (€742,00 here in Italy), includes beside the device itself, a tracking sensor, a remote, cables, an Xbox ONE controller and two games to fully immerge yourself into the VR: "EVE:Valkyrie" and "Lucky’s Tale".
Personally I think that here in Italy the VR is still out of the games, unless you don’t have the disposable income to afford a similar whim.
