There have been multiple rumors regarding a possible delay of the production of the new 10nm productive process by Intel, but the company denied those rumors in an official statement.
Intel indeed assured that the first 10nm solutions will be ready for the second half of 2017.
Most likely Inter will work on the launch of the first server processors with 10nm productive process in the first half of 2018, with a consumer market which will keep use the 14nm CPUs up to exhaustion, waiting then the availability of the new 10nm after the large volume production will be initiated, probably to avoid the same problems found with the “K” Skylake CPUs, about which we talked about last time.
Ci sono state molteplici voci a riguardo di un possibile ritardo da parte di Intel sulla messa in produzione del prossimo processo produttivo a 10nm, ma l'azienda ha smentito quelle voci in un annuncio.
Intel infatti ha assicurato che le prime soluzioni a 10nm sono previste per la seconda metà del 2017.
Molto probabilmente Intel si muoverà per avere i primi processori server con processo produttivo a 10nm pronti per il lancio nella prima metà del 2018, con il mercato consumers che continuerà a fare buon uso delle CPU a 14nm fino ad esaurimento, aspettando poi che le nuove a 10nm siano disponibili quando la produzione in grandi numeri sarà avviata, immaginiamo per evitare gli stessi problemi che hanno avuto con le CPU "K" skylake di cui abbiamo parlato la scorsa volta.
