Alphacool new X-Flow Rads.

Alphacool recently unveiled its new series of X-Flow radiators, based on the features already seen in the NexXxos series but characterized by a design that improves the internal flow of the liquid.

The difference between this new series and the radiators with a traditional design, usually based on a principal U channel, the new radiators X-Flow presents a crossed design, which exploits the whole width of the channels to push the liquid on the whole area of the radiator, avoiding this way an air accumulation in the lower part of the rad, which happened with the classic design.

Another peculiarity are the inlet and outlet are positiones on opposite sides, choice dictated by the design of the internal canals and results very comfortable while assembling a custom liquid cooling system.

These new radiators will soon be available in 120mm, 240mm, 360mm and 480mm version with a thickness of 35mm, 60mm and 80mm.

Alphacool ha recentemente svelato la sua nuova linea di radiatori X-Flow, basati sulle features gia viste nella linea di prodotti NexXxos ma caratterizzati da un design che migliora il flusso interno del liquido.

A differenza dei radiatori dal design tradizionale, solitamente basati su un canale principale a U, i nuovi radiatori X-Flow presentano un design "incrociato" che sfrutta tutta la larghezza dei canali per spingere il liquido per tutta la superficie del radiatore, evitando quindi l'accumulo d'aria nella parte bassa, cosa che invece accade nei radiatori dal design classico.

Altra peculiarità è data dal fatto che presentano le porte per ingresso ed uscita poste ai ai lati opposti, scelta dettata anche dal design dei canali interni ma che risulta di grande comodità quando si assembla un sistema di raffreddamento a liquido custom.

Questi nuovi radiatori saranno presto disponibili in dimensioni di 120, 240, 360 e 480mm e spessori da 35mm, 60mm e 80mm.

Eisfach...new bayres by Alphacool

Alphacool recently launched its new Eisfach, a 5 1/4" dual slot bayres.

As a first attempt of Alphacool in the reservoirs market, this product has some interesting features, like the Alphacool logo and the small window, thought to check the fluid level, that can be lit by LEDs, the mounting brackets rubberized to absorb the vibrations generated by the pump (sold separately) and the soft-touch finish on the front panel.

Three different versions available, with differents mounting option: the first supporting a single laing D5 pump (€ 63.99), the second supporting a single laing DDC pump (€ 58.99) and the third for dual/single DC-LT pump (€ 53.99).

In conclusion, i want express my personal opinion about it, I'm not a big fan of bayres, if you're planning to cool your PC with a custom loop, i suggest you to plan it well from the beginning, maybe choosing a Case that will allow you later on to install a tube reservoir, which are a lot easier to fill and drain, moreover I find that the front filling system, like this bayres has, is particularly uncomfortable, you'll have to remove the entire res from the case whenever you'll have to do your system maintenance.

Come primo esperimento di Alphacool nel mercato dei reservoirs, questo prodotto presenta delle features interessanti, come il logo Alphacool e la piccola finestrella per controllare il livello del liquido illuminabili tramite LEDs, il rivestimento in gomma per le staffe di montaggio per attutire le vibrazioni generati dalla pompa (venduta separatamente) ed il rivestimento del pannello frontale in materiale soft-touch.
Tre le versioni disponibili, una con attacchi per pompa singola laing D5 (€ 63.99), una con attacchi per pompa singola laing DDC (€ 58.99) ed una per doppia/singola pompa DC-LT (€ 53.99).

Concludo esprimendo un mio parere personale, non sono un grande fan dei bayres, se avete in progetto di raffreddare a liquido il vostro pc con un impianto custom, vi consiglio di pianificarlo per bene, magari partendo già con un Case che permetta poi di installare un tube res, sono molto piu facili sia da riempire che da svuotare, in oltre trovo il sistema di riempimento frontale, come quello di questo bayres, particolarmente scomodo, sarete costretti a toglierlo dal suo alloggiamento ogni qual volta dovrete fare manutenzione al vostro impianto.
