AMD VR compatible CPU list.

With the advent of Virtual Reality devices such as the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive, there is a lot of talk about the hardware needed to support this technology.

AMD for this reason presented a list of its CPU solutions ready for the VR.
In this list we can find two top FX solutions with 220W TDP, meaning the FX-9590 and 9370 and not only.
This list includes other solutions, usually intended for gaming systems, the FX 8370, 8350 and the cheaper FX 6350.

Surprisingly in this list there were even the APUs, based on the Steamroller architecture, A10 7890K and 7870K, as well as the Athlon X4 880K and 870K.

Even if certified as compatible by AMD, we don’t know yet how they will act in reality in this new environment, we just have to wait and in the future maybe we will have the chance to test them for you.

Con l'arrivo di dispositivi per la realtà virtuale come Oculus Rift o HTC Vive, si sente sempre più parlare di hardware ottimizzato per supportare questa nuova tecnologia.

A fronte di questo AMD ha presentato una lista delle sue suluzioni CPU pronte per il VR.
Nella lista possiamo trovare le due soluzioni FX top di gamma con TDP da 220W, ovvero gli FX-9590 e 9370 e non solo.
L'elenco comprende anche le soluzioni, solitamente destinate ai sistemi gaming, ovvero gli FX 8370. 8350 ed il più economico FX 6350.

Sorprendentemente sono state inserite anche le APU, basate su architettura Steamroller, A10 7890K e 7870K, così come gli Athlon X4 880K e 870K.

Se pur attestate come compatibili da AMD, non sappiamo bene come si comporteranno effettivamente queste CPU in questo nuovo ambiente, non ci resta che aspettare ed in futuro magari, poterle testare personalmente per voi.
