GIGABYTE Radeon R9 380X WindForce 2X

Gigabyte recently presented its new graphic solution R9 380X WindForce 2x, which would be put beside the already on market G1.Gaming, the graphic card mounts obviously the AMD “Antigua” GPU, a rebrand of the “Tonga” GPU mounted on the R9 285, based on a 28nm productive process.

This model presents a completely custom PCB, a stylish backplate and the 2 fans version of the famous “WindForce” heatsink.

It has to be said that despite there were all the assumptions to put on the market a factory over clocked card, this model presents the same stock frequencies of the AMD reference model, 970MHz core clock and 5.7GHz for the memories.

The Radeon R9 380X presents 2048 stream processors, 128 TMUs, 32ROPs, 256-bit bus and 4GB GDDR5 on board memory, powered by an 8pin PCIe connector and with a video output with 2 DVI ports, a DisplayPort 1.2a and an HDMI 1.4a port. The suggested price is $230, the price in Euro should not be much different by this one.

Gigabyte ha presentato la sua nuova soluzione grafica  R9 380X WindForce 2X, che affiancherà la gia prsente sul mercato G1.Gaming, la scheda monta, ovviamente la GPU AMD "Antigua", ovvero un rebrand della GPU "Tonga" montata sulla R9 285, basata su un processo produttivo a 28nm.

Questo modello presenta PCB interamente custom, un elegante backplate e la versione a 2 ventole del famoso dissipatore "WindForce".

C'è da dire però che nonostante ci fossero tutti i presupposti per mettere in commercio una scheda overcloccata di fabbrica, questo modello presenta la stesse frequenze stock del modello reference di AMD, ovvero 970MHz core clock e 5.7GHz per le memorie.

La Radeon R9 380X presenta 2048 stream processors, 128 TMUs, 32ROPs, bus a 256-bit e 4GB di memoria GDDR5, ad alimentare il tutto un connettore a 8pin PCIe e come output video invece abbiamo 2 porte DVI, una DisplayPort 1.2a e una porta HDMI 1.4a, il prezzo suggerito sarà di circa $230, il prezzo in Euro non di discosterà di molto da questo.
